- Coordination and Networking To facilitate coordination of information sharing and networking of activities between the member municipalities

VISION:
The vision of ALGASL is to be the leading organization in spearheading the development and implementation of democratic, devolved and participatory local government system in Somaliland.
Association of Local Government Authority of Somaliland (ALGASL) is a non-political, non-governmental and non-profit making its voluntary organization.
ALGASL is purposely formed to represent advocate of the constitutional rights and serves the interests of local authorities in Somaliland.
This voluntary organization is also established effective coordination mechanism and creates strong ties, partnership opportunities between local authorities which more developed institutions can assist less developed once.
